Orban is looking for an experienced broadcast engineer to provide technical support for our complete line of broadcast equipment. Know audio from the studio to the tower.
As a Customer Service Engineer at Orban, you will provide information to our customers and dealers on product specs, application installation and setup, theory of operation and assist them with troubleshooting and repairs. You'll need to have at least an AA degree or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years broadcast engineering experience. Experience with PC hardware and software is also a must. You'll also need excellent verbal and written communication skills and knowledge of electronic troubleshooting and repairs.

The DTV Studio Tech class will be led by James Synder a, DTV engineering, operations and production specialist, and consultant. This one-and-a-half day course is designed especially for engineers, technicians, studio, and production staff of all levels. Mr. Synder will guide us through topics that include: MPEG-2 video compression, digital audio, transport bitstreams and multilpexing, PSIPs and datacasting. The course also examines station scenarios, production issues, and includes numerous real-world examples of digital HD video.
