Actually they require some sweat equity. They're two Harris plate
transformers for an FM 20K. They each have one fried winding but would be simple
to rewind. Weight is about 700 lbs apiece. Contact Fred Krock at KQED-FM.
Any dress extra who exclaims, "ZORRO!", ain't a homeboy. There's no Z sound
in Spanish. The La Seta I was asking about was La Zeta. Very little spoken
difference between them, if any. This slogan is used by a station group in which
each station has a Z in the call letters. I had a lot of comments on this.
Thanks to everyone.

While we all await the issuance of fabled OST 69, I've gone ahead and done
some calculations having been intrigued by copies of petitions regarding the
Commissions methods. The Longley-Rice method seems best suited for transmit
sites on large Ping- Pong tables. It doesn't like lumps at all. One run I did
had 26% of the locations with level 3 errors. The Commission assumes such spots
are fine.

My next question has to do with love in Spanish pop
music. Pop music rewrites language. A phrase I've heard is mi amorada. Not to be
found in a conventional dictionary. One Chicano dictionary defined it as being
equal to "my old lady". What does it mean to you?
DTV to NTSC taboos should result in spacings of less than 15 miles
or more than 60. Most of the Sutro DTV stations are between 30 and 40 miles from
several taboos. The new co-channel spacing is set at 170 miles. But one NTSC
station is less than 100 miles and another under 140.
Some of the
replications can only be obtained by the sort of antenna Spock might come up
with during the last commercial break on Trek.
